Our community was named after the stunning Birch Lake, located only a few blocks away and easily accessible by foot. With a bank, post office, grocery store, and several restaurants all within walking distance, daily errands and outings are effortless for our residents.

Inside, Birchview Gardens features over 70,000 square feet of inviting living space designed for comfort, connection, and enjoyment. Our on-site Essentia Health medical clinic adds unmatched convenience, providing residents with direct access to trusted healthcare without ever leaving the building.

We offer 37 private, wheelchair-accessible apartments—each with its own full kitchen and private bathroom. Floor plans range from cozy 400-square-foot studios to spacious apartments nearing 1,000 square feet. No matter the size, every apartment is designed for independence, comfort, and safety.

Residents enjoy a wide variety of community amenities, including a library, beauty salon, big-screen TV room, exercise room, two fireplaces, and a pool table. Private parking garages are also available for those who prefer the security and convenience of on-site covered parking.

Assisted Living Rates

The rates at Birchview Gardens are specifically formulated to be easily understood and affordable. Our room and board rates are structured to maximize the benefits of a housing program (formerly GRH) which helps qualified residents pay part or all of their monthly room and board. Elderly Waiver, CADI, and TBI programs are also accepted at Birchview Gardens.

Room & Board Package

Room and board rental rates start at $1,192.00 per month depending upon the size and amenities the room provides. All units include: Private bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen, heat, AC, electricity, and the use of the entire facility. Meals are included under GRH, EW, CADI, and TBI but can be excluded for private paying residents.

Services packages

Service rates vary according to the needs of our residents. Detailed rate quotes can be provided upon request. Our basic service package rate begins at $2,500 per month and includes:

24 hour supervision
